You’ve gone through all the interviews and tests but just one question remains unanswered: “How can I be sure that they’ve got the language skills for the job?”
If you are recruiting staff that will be required to conduct business in a second language, we can help to assess candidates’ and ensure that they meet the appropriate standard. All you have to do is provide us with a brief, detailing the level of linguistic expertise you would require from the candidate, and we will do the rest.
Expert assessment at the appropriate level
In a face-to-face interview lasting up to 1 hour, our assessor will determine each applicant’s ability and then we will send you a written assessment. The interview will be carried out based on your requirements:
Level I
- First part of Interview (10 mins): General
- Second part (10 mins): Interview regarding a special topic that may be in the news.
- Third part (10 mins) Exposure to language culture
- Overall comments
Level II
- First part of interview (15 mins): General
- Second part (15 mins): Translation of sample text
- Third part (20 mins):
- Interview regarding a special topic that may be in the news
- Discussion on chosen topic
- Fourth part (10 mins) Exposure to language culture
- Overall comments
The written report will cover:
- Linguistic level of the candidate at time of interview
- Marks for Translation Skills
- Marks for Spoken Fluency
- Marks for Vocabulary
- Marks for Structures
- Marks for Pronunciation
- Marks for Listening Comprehension
Fees
Fees available on request 30 minutes LSA Level I
Fees available on request 60 minutes LSA Level II
Fees are exclusive of VAT @ 17.5%
