Types of interpreting
There are many different ways to interpret, but they all lead to the same result: you understanding and being understood - clearly. Here are some of the different sorts of interpreting we provide:
Simultaneous
The interpreter translates simultaneously with the speaker, using wireless infrared or wired transmission systems.
Consecutive
The interpreter translates the content of conferences, presentations, seminars and workshops.
Whispered
The interpreter sits next to you and provides a précis of the speaker’s words. This is a one-to-one service.
Ad hoc
The interpreter helps to entertain your clients or provide translation ‘on the go’ for exhibitions, trade fairs and sightseeing excursions.
Telephone conference interpreting
We provide interpretation of different contributions in a conference call, even if the conversation is being conducted in several languages.
Telephone interpreting
This service enables you to communicate over the telephone, when talking to a foreign language speaker.
Large meetings and conferences
We provide complete set up and on-site technical support for events, where simultaneous or consecutive interpreting is required. Our professional engineers will install and maintain sophisticated audio systems at your venue and work with you to ensure high quality performance.
